SKILLED OPERATOR WAS ABLE TO LIFT MY ROOFTOP AC UNIT FROM A TIGHT SPACE
DMS Crane Service came through for me when other options required a costly Caltrans encroachment permit and Hwy 111 lane closure. Their skilled operator was able to lift my rooftop AC unit from a tight sidewalk space without needing a permit — saving time, stress, and red tape.
The cost was about the same as the only other alternative, but this approach avoided the highway closure entirely. The work was done quickly, safely, and professionally.
I’ll definitely be passing their name along to my neighbors who may face a similar situation. Highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM IF YOU NEED A SMART, CREATIVE LIFT SOLUTION DONE PROFESSIONALLY
Great service as always!
My contractor hired DMS Crane Service to remove and replace a rooftop AC unit at my condo in Palm Springs after several failed attempts with other providers. The operator was incredibly skilled -- he maneuvered a mobile crane into a very tight spot on the sidewalk and completed the lift without needing to close Hwy 111 or pull a permit. The job was done safely, efficiently, and without any issues.
The cost was $2,500, which is definitely on the higher end, but considering the alternative involved a 180-ft crane and a complicated highway closure with Caltrans, this was well worth it to get the job done without delay or extra red tape.
After weeks of setbacks and extreme heat, DMS got it done in one go. Highly recommend them if you need a smart, creative lift solution done professionally.
